Still Cleaning The Yard

Holy Moly! I am so pooped!
Today was another day out in the great outdoors.
I pretty much finished the backyard today and got started on the side yard.
Now like I said yesterday.....the side yard looks very creepy :o .
Little trees growing in places they shouldn't be.
Little leapin' lizards those geckos are everywhere.  :s
I started on the side yard first for about an hour.
I started by pulling just about everything out of that side yard
.And then I had to quit and head for a change of scenery.
So I went to the backyard to try my hand at a POWER TOOL!!!!
Bill had shown me how to work his tree trimmer.
Watch out trees here I come!!!!
So I start zipping down all those misplaced trees....they didn't stand a chance....hehehehe.
Bill was so sweet.
Before he went to work he hooked up the hose for me to run around to the backyard.
Our house was built in 1950.
I have never understood why in the world they did not put a water spicket in the backyard.
CRAZY!
Oh what was that?.....Did I hear the lunch bell ring?
Well lunch is over and I have to get back out there and try to make some since out of that side yard.
Bill has a little problem of not liking to throw out anything.
I know he thinks he will use it all some day,
We will see....I have my doubts though.
If it were up to me I would have thrown it all away.
But because it is not mine and my respect for his "things"
I just organized his goodies and in the process I acquired a bee sting. :'(
So I went inside and grabbed the meat tenderizer.
Yes I said MEAT TENDERIZER.
Our pediatrician told me when Amanda was a baby to always keep meat tenderizer on hand.
I asked him why?
He told me if I take it and make a paste with water and place it on the spot where the sting is it will almost immediately take the "ouch" out of the sting.
It is amazing, but it really does work.
Well break time is over and I still have a lot to do.
I decided to take down some more misplaced trees.
And I take the limbs and trunks to the curb.
Bill came home a little late this afternoon.
He was a little worried to see me in his area and in his "things".
I told him not to worry because I was just taking down some trees and trying to organize all of his "things".
What a sweetheart.  He had brought home chicken for dinner.
I was so tired and not having to cook was great!
After we both got a little rest we went outside and Bill cut the bigger limbs and trunks.
I am so glad we work well together.
In a short amount of time working together we knocked out 2 more trees.
They were a lot bigger than the ones I took down.
My job was to be the totter as usual.
Well I am so tried.
I am ready to go to bed and sleep for a long long time.
At least until my alarm goes off to start a new day.......

Blessing,
Betsy  ♥
